Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Third Coast Distributing, LLC is an independently owned group of NAPA Auto Parts stores located in Central and South Texas. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, Outside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team in Marble Falls, Texas.

About the Role:

The Outside Sales Representative acts as primary point of contact calling on new and existing wholesale, fleet, and national account customers within the Hill Country territory promoting our entire line of products and services. This position reports to the Area Manager.

• Works with local Store Managers and Area Manager to develop plans to increase sales, and proactively initiate, contact, manage and develop leads on a local basis.
• Prospects on new customers, establishing and growing relationships, and sales penetration.
• Stays continuously informed of new NAPA products and sales promotions by working with the product sales team and participates in NAPA Training.
• Follows industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
• Generates and submits sales reports to management.
• Demonstrates a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of NAPA products and supply chain systems.
• 2 years’ experience or more in the automotive/auto parts industry.
• 1 year sales experience or more with demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
• Exceptional organizational, time-management and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Impeccable interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalency is required.
• A valid state driver’s license.
• Pass an MVR and maintain a clean driving record.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
